Electrical Estimator / Bid Manager - specialist contractor.
The Company
The business operates an independent connection provider within the power and electrical infrastructure sector, delivering projects involving electrical switchgear and associated civil works. The environment is technically focused, collaborative and commercially driven.
The Role
This is a permanent role offering close involvement with senior leadership and the full tender process. Working closely with the directors, the position is responsible for estimating and pricing electrical works. Duties include pulling together civil and electrical information, preparing costings, and managing bid documentation through to tender submission. Existing templates are in place, with scope to enhance presentation where appropriate.
Experience Required
- Experience in estimating or commercial support within electrical works
- Understanding of electrical switchgear and grid connection projects
- Ability to coordinate civil and electrical information into coherent tenders
- Competence using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Any ability to improve document presentation is advantageous but not essential
Remuneration
A competitive salary package is available, commensurate with experience, along with the stability of a permanent position.
