This permanent position will suit a commercially aware and technically capable professional with a background in geotechnical, geology, or geoenvironmental engineering.

The Role
The Business Unit Manager will take full responsibility for the management of ground investigation contracts, daily operational activities, and the performance of the regional facility. The role will involve overseeing project delivery, maintaining high service standards, driving commercial performance, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures. A key aspect of the position will be leading, mentoring, and developing teams to support continued growth and operational success.
Experience Required
- Strong background within ground investigation, geotechnical, geology, or geoenvironmental sectors
- Proven experience managing contracts, operations, and technical delivery
- Commercially aware with strong financial and business management skills
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities
- Ability to maintain strong customer relationships and deliver high-quality service
- Relevant technical qualifications preferred
