An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civils Lead to join a major project in the North East. This permanent position offers the chance to take a lead role across all civil and CSA activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to the required quality standards and within budget.

The Role
The Civils Lead will oversee and coordinate all civil work packages throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, site operations, QA/QC, safety, planning and commercial activities, while ensuring programme and client requirements are achieved.
The role will also involve leading subcontractor meetings, coordinating design and construction activities, managing change and variations, reviewing drawings and as-built information, and driving the successful completion of snagging and project closeout.
Experience Required
- 7+ years’ experience within CSA/civil construction, ideally on large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of construction planning, sequencing and scheduling.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing subcontractors.
- Excellent knowledge of site operations, health and safety and quality standards.
- Strong communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary project environments.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Data centre experience would be advantageous.
