A large and well-established Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to work on a flood alleviation scheme in Rotherham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying for earthworks, drainage, flood defences, structures, and associated infrastructure
- Interpreting and working from construction drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Ensuring works are constructed in accordance with design, contract requirements, and relevant standards
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects, ideally flood alleviation or drainage schemes
- Competence in surveying, setting out, and working with construction drawings
- Experience coordinating with site teams and subcontractors
- Knowledge of relevant standards, specifications, and construction best practices
Remuneration:
£325 to £375 per day (depend on experience)
