The Role
The Contracts Manager will take responsibility for managing multiple groundworks projects from pre-construction through to completion. Duties will include overseeing site teams, ensuring health and safety compliance, managing budgets and programmes, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and driving overall project performance. A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong leadership skills will be essential.
Experience Required
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within groundworks or civil engineering
- Strong knowledge of groundworks packages, including drainage, foundations, and external works
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
- Relevant qualifications in construction or civil engineering (preferred)
