An opening for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of residential and light commercial construction projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, growing company and play a key role in delivering quality projects.

The Company
A well-established small building firm operating across Newcastle and North and South Tyneside.

The Role
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day management of building contracts and site operations
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery
Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality standards
Conduct site visits and progress meetings
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Resolve any contractual or site issues promptly and effectively


Experience Required
It is essential that applicants can demonstrate proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar role within the construction industry as well as a strong knowledge of building processes, regulations, and health & safety legislation.

Remuneration
£60,000 to £65,000 per annum
