Overview
A Customer Experience Coordinator / Tenant Liaison Officer is required for a temporary position supporting a Warm Homes improvement programme in Darlington. The role will involve working closely with social housing tenants throughout works to their homes, ensuring a professional, supportive and positive customer experience.

A regional construction and property services business delivering regeneration, planned maintenance and energy improvement programmes within the social housing sector.
The Role
The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for residents, coordinating appointments and keeping customers informed throughout the delivery of improvement works, including wall and cavity wall insulation and the installation of low-energy lighting.
Responsibilities will include managing customer enquiries and concerns, arranging access with site teams, conducting customer visits, maintaining accurate records and supporting complaints resolution. The role will also involve gathering customer feedback, monitoring satisfaction and working closely with operational teams, clients and community stakeholders to ensure customer needs are understood and addressed.
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role with a strong focus on customer service.
- Experience managing enquiries, complaints and service requests.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using CRM, customer database or case management systems.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
- Experience within social housing, construction, planned maintenance or property services would be advantageous.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Full UK driving licence – essential.
- Customer service qualification or equivalent practical experience desirable.
Remuneration
£15.00 per hour PAYE
