The Role
An experienced Design Manager is sought to coordinate and manage the flow of design information throughout preconstruction and delivery phases. The successful candidate will ensure that design programmes are aligned with project requirements, consultant teams are effectively managed, and information is issued accurately and on time to support construction activities. Close liaison with commercial, operational, and external design teams will be essential to maintain quality, compliance, and programme objectives.
Experience Required
- Proven experience in a Design Manager role within a building or refurbishment contractor environment
- Strong understanding of preconstruction processes and live project delivery
- Ability to manage consultant teams and coordinate technical information effectively
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Relevant construction qualification preferred
