Design Manager – Building Contractor – North East
The Company
A well-established building contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of new build projects across the education, residential and commercial sectors. With schemes ranging from £500k to £60m, the business offers the opportunity to work across a varied and technically interesting project portfolio.
The Role
An experienced Design Manager is required to coordinate and manage the design process from tender through to completion of on-site delivery. The role will involve managing the flow of information between design consultants and project management teams, ensuring designs are coordinated, buildable and delivered in line with programme and project requirements.
Experience Required
A background in architectural technology is preferred, alongside proven experience in design management within the construction sector. Experience gained within a building contractor environment will be advantageous, with strong communication, coordination and organisational skills essential.
