Document Controller required for a role based in a new regional office close to Prudhoe.
The Role
The Document Controller will report into a Senior Document Controller based in the company’s Head Office, and be responsible for managing, organising, and maintaining project documentation for civil engineering works, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with project and industry standards. Theu will also act as the central point for information flow and support Engineers, Contractors, Consultants, and Project Managers by controlling drawings, technical documents, correspondence, and quality records throughout the project lifecycle.
As one of the key projects is based in Scotland, there will be a requirement to travel to the site weekly/fortnightly to spend a day on site, staying overnight and returning the next day.
The Person
Applications are welcome from people with strong accuracy in managing revisions, naming conventions, and document integrity and a working knowledge of an EDMS platform such as Autodesk Forma or Asite , as well as Microsoft Office. A familiarity with civil drawing terminology, and project workflows would be beneficial coupled with the ability to manage high volumes of documents under tight deadlines and resolve document discrepancies and workflow issues.
The salary for this is entirely dependant upon the applicants experience.
Remuneration
