A permanent opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Manager to join a leading civil engineering contractor operating across the North East.
The Company
The business is a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a range of groundworks, infrastructure and civil engineering projects throughout the region.
The Role
The Engineering Manager will take responsibility for overseeing the engineering function across projects, managing site and office-based engineers, and coordinating modelling and technical outputs. Duties include reviewing designs, managing BIM and engineering processes, ensuring technical compliance, and supporting project teams to achieve safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
Experience Required

Proven experience in an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering role within civil engineering

Strong background in civil engineering design, setting out, and construction methodologies

Experience overseeing modelling, BIM, or digital engineering functions

Ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams

Relevant engineering qualifications and CSCS certification
Remuneration
£60,000 to £80,000 per annum
