The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join an established team, operating with a high degree of autonomy while contributing to a collaborative environment. The position requires a strong understanding of the practical implications of civil engineering works, enabling accurate and commercially sound pricing of projects. Responsibilities will include preparing detailed cost estimates, analysing tender documentation, liaising with operational teams, and supporting bid submissions across a varied portfolio of civils schemes.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the civil engineering sector
- Strong knowledge of civils methodologies, particularly within water and infrastructure projects
- Experience working on projects for regulated authorities
- Commercial awareness with the ability to interpret technical documentation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
