A permanent opportunity has arisen for a General Foreman to join a well-established civils and groundworks operation in Middlesbrough. This role is suited to an experienced site professional capable of overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

The Role
The General Foreman will take responsibility for managing site activities, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Duties include supervising works, liaising with site management teams, monitoring progress against programme, and maintaining quality control throughout all stages of construction.
Experience Required

Proven experience in a General Foreman or similar supervisory role within civils and groundworks

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and site compliance

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Relevant certifications (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS) preferred
