An excellent permanent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate or Trainee Site Engineer to join a civil engineering contractor based in County Durham. This role is ideally suited to someone at the early stages of a construction career, looking to gain hands-on site experience and develop within the civils sector.

The Role
The Graduate/Trainee Site Engineer will support the delivery of civil engineering projects on site, assisting with setting out, quality control, and site documentation. Responsibilities will include working closely with senior engineers and site management, ensuring works are carried out in line with specifications, and maintaining health and safety standards. This role offers structured training and progression opportunities.
Experience Required
- Degree, HNC, HND or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field, or working towards
- Strong interest in civil engineering and site-based work
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge
- Basic understanding of site procedures and health and safety (advantageous but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence preferred
