An opportunity has arisen for a Group Finance Director to join a group of small, established, and consistently profitable businesses based in the North East. The Role
The Group Finance Director will lead the finance function across the group, providing strategic direction and ensuring robust financial governance. Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, and supporting commercial decision-making. The role will work closely with senior leadership to drive performance, identify growth opportunities, and enhance financial controls and processes.
Experience Required
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a multi-entity environment
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at board level
- Experience of managing and developing finance teams
- Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills
