An experienced M&E Manager is required for a permanent position based in the North East, working with a reputable national main contractor. The role involves overseeing the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across a range of construction projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and programme targets are met.

The Role
The M&E Manager will take responsibility for managing all mechanical and electrical aspects of projects from pre-construction through to completion. Duties will include coordination of subcontractors, reviewing design information, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations, monitoring progress against programme, and maintaining high standards of health and safety. Close collaboration with project teams and stakeholders will be essential to ensure successful project delivery.
Experience Required
- Proven experience in an M&E Manager role within a main contractor or subcontractor environment
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience overseeing M&E packages on construction projects
- Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple workstreams
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering preferred
