The Role
The Project Manager will take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering packages on BES and substation projects. Key duties include managing site operations, overseeing structures and reinforced concrete works, coordinating electrical subcontractors, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role will also involve programme management, cost control, stakeholder liaison, and regular reporting on project performance.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering
- Strong background in substation, BES, structures, and reinforced concrete works
- Experience managing electrical subcontractors on energy or infrastructure projects
- Demonstrable ability to deliver complex projects to programme and budget
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management
