An experienced Project Manager is required to lead the delivery of a major civil engineering infrastructure scheme within the energy sector in the North East. This permanent position offers the chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of a high-profile project from planning through to completion.
The Company
A leading civil engineering contractor with an established reputation for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK. With a strong pipeline of work in the energy sector, the business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to strengthen its project delivery team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of a major energy infrastructure project, ensuring work is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors, managing client and stakeholder relationships, monitoring commercial performance and driving project objectives throughout the construction lifecycle.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the civil engineering sector.
- Previous involvement in the delivery of large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, programmes and resources.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and current health and safety legislation.
- Relevant engineering qualification preferred.
