Project Administrator required for a new, permanent role in the East Durham area. This is with a specialist construction business and has been created to meet the needs of an extremely busy team.
The Role
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Contracts Manager and site teams, ensuring all construction contracts, compliance documents, and project records are maintained accurately. This role facilitates the smooth workflow from pre-construction to final account, helping to manage commercial, contractual, and operational documentation.
- Maintaining project files and coordination of the projects folders, including O & M documents, ensuring they are complete, accurate and ready for handover.
- Supporting the Contracts Manager in tracking variations, extensions of time, and changes to scope.
- The maintenance of records for CDM regulations, health and safety files, and quality control test results.
- Processing subcontractor and supplier orders, gather information for invoices, and checking the compliance of purchase orders.
The Person
Applicants absolutely must have recent experience in a similar role. They will be able to work well under pressure, prioritise effectively and have a flexible approach to each working day.
Remuneration
£35,000 to £40,000 per annum
