The Company
A growing housing infrastructure contractor delivering essential enabling works for residential developments across Yorkshire. The business has secured multiple new sites with programmes running over the next 2–3 years and is seeking to strengthen the commercial team to support continued growth and project delivery.
The Role
An opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take a lead commercial role across several new housing infrastructure sites in Yorkshire. Responsibilities will include managing the commercial performance of projects from commencement through to completion, including cost control, subcontractor management, valuations, variations and final accounts. The works will primarily consist of roads, sewers and plot preparation for residential developments.
Experience Required
Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction or civil engineering is required. Knowledge of infrastructure works associated with housing developments, particularly roads and sewers, would be advantageous. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial awareness, the ability to manage multiple sites, and effective communication with operational teams and subcontractors.
Remuneration
A competitive salary and benefits package is available, commensurate with experience. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to play a key role on long-term projects within a growing contractor.
