Quantity Surveyor – Rural Northumberland

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management across a varied portfolio of building and civil engineering projects. Responsibilities include preparing estimates, managing budgets, valuing works, handling subcontractor accounts, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets. Close collaboration with project teams and stakeholders will be essential to maintain efficiency and profitability.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or civil engineering
- Strong understanding of cost control, contract administration, and commercial processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred
- Full UK driving licence advantageous due to rural location
Remuneration
Salary is circa £50,000 to £60,000 per annum dependent on experience and flexible working. Additional benefits to be discussed at interview
