A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to support civil engineering projects in Middlesbrough, ensuring high standards of health, safety and compliance across site operations.

The Role
The Health and Safety Advisor will provide guidance and support to site teams, monitor compliance with health and safety legislation, conduct site inspections and audits, and assist with risk assessments and method statements. The role will also involve promoting best practice and supporting continuous improvement in health and safety performance.
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Health and Safety Advisor role within civil engineering or construction.
- Good knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.
- Experience conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with site teams.
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is desirable.
