Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – New Build Housing – Yorkshire

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a competent Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage multiple new build housing development projects across Yorkshire. Responsibilities will include full commercial management from procurement through to final account, subcontractor management, cost reporting, valuations, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and programme.
Site visits will be required one to two days per week, with the remaining time based in the local office working alongside the commercial team. This is a permanent position offering long-term prospects within a supportive and professional environment.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a building contractor environment
- Strong background in new build housing developments
- Ability to manage multiple projects commercially
- Experience with subcontract procurement, valuations, cost control, and final accounts
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence
