Senior Quantity Surveyor – East Yorkshire
The Company
Established main contractor, with particular strength in residential developments. A strong pipeline of secured work in the Yorkshire region has created an opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a permanent basis.
The Role
An experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to provide full commercial management of a new build residential and extra care development in East Yorkshire. Responsibilities will include:
- Cost control
- Procurement
- Subcontractor management
- Valuations
- Financial reporting throughout the lifecycle of the project
Time will be split between office and site, with a high degree of autonomy expected in managing the commercial aspects of the scheme.
Experience Required
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor role within a main contractor environment is essential. A strong background in residential or similar new build projects is preferred. The ability to manage commercial responsibilities independently, alongside excellent cost management and subcontractor administration skills, is required.
