The Role
As the Quantity Surveyor, the primary responsibility will be to lead the commercial aspects of new build projects, from inception through to completion. This includes preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, assessing risks, and ensuring accurate reporting. The role also involves liaising with contractors, clients, and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within agreed financial parameters.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment, specifically with new build projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, contracts, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • RICS or equivalent professional membership is preferred but not essential.
