An experienced Site Agent is sought to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a large-scale infrastructure scheme in the North East. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term regional work on a high-profile project.

The Role
The Site Agent will take full responsibility for managing site operations on a significant scheme. Duties will include:

Overseeing daily site activities to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget

Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards

Monitoring programme and progress, reporting to senior management

Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and project teams

Managing documentation, RAMS, and technical compliance
Experience Required
-
Proven experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering

Strong background delivering large infrastructure or heavy civil schemes

Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and site management procedures

Ability to manage programmes, budgets, and subcontractors effectively

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications

Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) desirable
Remuneration

£60,000 to £65,000 per annum
