An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering housing infrastructure projects across the Newcastle area. This permanent position offers long-term career prospects working on roads, sewers, and associated civils packages within residential developments.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out and surveying works on housing infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed accurately, safely, and in line with programme requirements. Duties will include quality control, liaison with site teams and subcontractors, maintaining site records, and supporting project delivery from inception through to completion.
Experience Required
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or housing infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of roads and sewers projects
- Competent in setting out using GPS and robotic total station equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Relevant engineering qualification preferred
- Full UK driving licence
