Corepeople Recruitment Limited is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a permanent position with a leading UK infrastructure and civil-engineering contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Site Engineer to join an established business and contribute to the delivery of major infrastructure projects.

The company is a well-established civil-engineering contractor with a strong track record across the UK. Its expertise covers renewable-energy infrastructure, highways, bridges, marine works, flood defence, site development and associated civil-engineering projects.
With extensive experience delivering complex projects in challenging and remote locations, the business has developed a strong reputation within the infrastructure sector and forms part of a larger infrastructure-services group.
The Role
As Site Engineer, responsibility will be centred around providing technical support and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design, specification and programme requirements.
Key duties will include setting out works, undertaking site surveys and measurements, interpreting drawings and specifications, maintaining accurate records and quality documentation, and working closely with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team.
The role will provide an opportunity to work on significant infrastructure projects within a technically focused and delivery-driven environment.
Experience Required
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure
- Experience of setting out and surveying on civil-engineering projects
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of construction methods, quality and health and safety requirements
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site-based project team
- Relevant engineering qualification or degree is a must
