A permanent opportunity is available for a Site Manager to join a busy contractor delivering a mix of civils and building projects in Newcastle. This role is ideal for experienced Foremen or Supervisors ready to take the next step into site management.

An established construction business operating across the North East, with a strong portfolio of both civil engineering and building projects. Known for delivering quality schemes and maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
The Role
The Site Manager will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. Responsibilities include managing site teams and subcontractors, coordinating works, maintaining site records, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also involves liaising with project stakeholders and supporting the successful delivery of key milestones.
Experience Required
- Background in civils and/or building projects
- Experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or similar role, with readiness to step into site management
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and site procedures
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet deadlines
- Relevant qualifications and certifications such as SMSTS and CSCS preferred
