A reputable housing developer is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a development in Teesside
The Role
- Manage day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring all work is completed to plan and schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Oversee quality control and ensure work meets company and industry standards.
- Manage site budgets, materials, and resources efficiently.
- Report regularly to senior management on progress, risks, and challenges.
- Resolve issues proactively and maintain positive relationships with clients
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in new build housing or residential construction.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Relevant qualifications SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid are essential
