I am seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to lead the delivery of new build housing developments in and round Newcastle, this is a permanent role offering long term stability and job satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and tospecification.
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics efficiently.
- Maintain excellent standards of health & safety, quality control, and compliance with NHBC and building regulations.
- Manage site paperwork, reporting, programmes, and progress updates.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, technical teams, and senior management.
- Ensure a positive site culture and uphold company values at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the new build housing sector (traditional build or timber frame advantageous).
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, H&S legislation, and NHBC standards.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work and other relevant certifications.
Remuneration £55,000 per annum + package, negotiable dependant on experience.
