Freelance General Foreman required to work on a water infrastructure project, starting 14th September. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations and managing the site workforce.
The role will involve supervising general civils, drainage, pipework and associated water infrastructure works, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, coordinating subcontractors and site operatives and helping to ensure the programme is maintained.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a General Foreman on civils/water infrastructure projects
- Strong background in groundworks, drainage and pipework
- Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors
- Good understanding of construction methods and site operations
- Strong focus on health & safety and quality
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Relevant CSCS / SSSTS or SMSTS qualifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Remuneration:
- £500–£550 per day, dependent on experience
