An opportunity has arisen for a Small Works Manager to join a well-established organisation delivering projects across civils, concrete repairs and refirbishments in the Sunderland area. The Role
The Small Works Manager will be responsible for coordinating and delivering multiple small-scale projects simultaneously. Duties will include planning and programming works, managing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, controlling budgets, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires a hands-on approach with regular site visits across the region.
Experience Required
- Proven experience in a similar role within civils or construction
- Strong knowledge of bridges, masonry, or infrastructure works
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
- Relevant qualifications in construction or civil engineering (preferred)
