The position would suit a construction or engineering professional with proven experience managing structural and CSA elements of complex projects within a contracting environment.

The Role

The successful Structural Lead will take responsibility for the management and coordination of structural activities across a major construction project.

Key duties will include:

  • Managing project costs, budgets, labour requirements and overall project performance.
  • Establishing structural project processes, reporting documentation and delivery schedules.
  • Liaising closely with key project stakeholders, including design teams and the client.
  • Monitoring programme, scope, cost and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Promoting and maintaining strong health and safety standards across the project team.
  • Ensuring quality targets are achieved and exceeded.
  • Leading and coordinating project teams, delegating workloads and driving effective project meetings.

Experience Required

  • Degree qualified in a relevant construction or engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in a similar Structural Lead or senior project role.
  • Previous experience delivering CSA or structural elements of projects within a contracting environment is essential.
  • Strong organisational, communication and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking approach to project delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate project teams.
