The Role
The successful Structural Lead will take responsibility for the management and coordination of structural activities across a major construction project.
Key duties will include:
- Managing project costs, budgets, labour requirements and overall project performance.
- Establishing structural project processes, reporting documentation and delivery schedules.
- Liaising closely with key project stakeholders, including design teams and the client.
- Monitoring programme, scope, cost and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promoting and maintaining strong health and safety standards across the project team.
- Ensuring quality targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Leading and coordinating project teams, delegating workloads and driving effective project meetings.
Experience Required
- Degree qualified in a relevant construction or engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in a similar Structural Lead or senior project role.
- Previous experience delivering CSA or structural elements of projects within a contracting environment is essential.
- Strong organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to build effective relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and forward-thinking approach to project delivery.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate project teams.
